Salomon Speedcross 3 Womens
One of Salomon’s original technical trail running shoes, the Women’s Speedcross 3 allows you to run fast over all kinds of terrain. Super lightweight with an ultra adjustable and precise fit, the Salomon Women’s Speedcross 3 utilises some of Salomon’s best features to provide you with the ultimate comfort and support on the trails. The classic fast lace system allows for ultra-adjustable, easy ons and offs, while the Sensifit system cradles your foot to provide added comfort and support along with the moulded and injected EVA midsole. Elsewhere, the upper is breathable, water- and abrasion-resistant, plus the whole shoe is designed to stop mud clogging up the treads and clumping on the textile.

Salomon’s Ortholite liner consists of special Ortholite foam and an EVA heel cup. Ortholite is made from recycled tyres and therefore will not break down or loose its effectiveness over time, as well as being good for the planet. Ortholite is breathable, fast-drying and provides excellent cushioning for your foot, particularly with the addition of an EVA heel cup, which provides extra support in the heel.
Contragrip Mud and Snow Sole
Salomon developed their Contagrip rubber formula to provide the best grip over a multitude of conditions, and the Contagrip Mud and Snow is best suited to cold and wet conditions. The aggressive lugs are similar to a tractor tyre and are made from a sticky rubber compound to provide the best traction. This rubber also has an anti-freeze treatment to prevent ice and snow from sticking to it.
Salomon’s Quicklace System means no more time spent doing up your shoelaces or pulling them open again after your run. The Quicklace System means you can do up, undo and adjust the fit of your running shoes in one easy movement, without having to faff around with traditional laces.
We see Salomon Sensifit branding all the time, but what exactly is it and what does it do? Well, the Sensifit system in running shoes can be seen in the form of the plasticky-looking zig zags down the sides of Salomon trail shoes, and these reinforced zig zags connect to the laces to wrap around your foot and provide the most precise and secure fit. This means your foot is less likely to move around inside the shoe when you’re running and reduces the risk of hotspots and blisters.
Salomon’s Endofit lining is similar to the Sensifit system but is located in the liner instead of the outside of the shoe. The Endofit liner wraps around the foot and helps to hold it snugly in place to eliminate blisters and hotspots while you’re running.
