Grivel Condor

The Grivel Condor is an adjustable self-arrest pole with a hot-forged extractable steel blade for angled snow ascents, ski descents, and to overcome dangerous and difficult situations.

The Grivel Condor 18.16 is a hybrid walking pole/ice axe. Not quite for ice climbing, and a bit too technical for walking, but perfect for ascents where an ice blade can aid in hauling past obstacles, or even self-arresting in the event of a fall. It also uses their patented Up&Down system for fast and simple adjustability at all times.
