Arc'teryx

Arc'teryx, named after the ARCHAEOPTERYX LITHOGRAPHICA, the first reptile to grow feathers for flight, centres on three values: design, craftsmanship, and performance. Started in 1989 by a group of local climbers, Arc'teryx has its headquarters in North Vancouver at the foot of the North Shore mountains, where they can design, make, test, and innovate new products with the goal being to produce "the world's most durable outdoor gear". Producing the world's "best-performing, longest-lasting" waterproof and insulating jackets, climbing and mountaineering pants, softshells, and boots requires premium materials and constant evolution to stay at the forefront of innovation, but Arc'teryx's in-house centres, ideal location, and commitment to being the best performing and most durable allows them to remain firmly at the cutting edge of product quality.
